Digital Vault Lux Licensing FAQ

1. What is the difference between PR, MRR, and Resell rights?
  • PLR (Private Label Rights): These rights allow you to modify, rebrand, and sell the digital products as your own. You can change the content, add your branding, and market it in any way you choose.

  • MRR (Master Resell Rights): With MRR, you can resell the products as they are without modification. However, you are not allowed to alter the product itself. You can sell them to others with the same rights you have, meaning your customers can also resell the product.

  • Resell Rights: Resell rights allow you to sell the digital product to others for a profit. You cannot modify, rebrand, or give away the product for free. You are limited to selling the product as is, without changes.

2. What’s Allowed?

With PLR (Private Label Rights):

  • You can modify the content, change the branding, and sell the modified version.

  • You can add your own name or business branding to the product.

  • You can offer it for sale on your website, Etsy, or other platforms.

  • You can bundle it with other products you create and sell.

  • You can distribute the product to your customers and offer it as part of your own product line.

With MRR (Master Resell Rights):

  • You can resell the product as-is, without modification, to customers.

  • You can sell the product on your website, Etsy, or any other platform that allows digital product sales.

  • You can offer it as part of a bundle with other digital products you create or resell.

  • You can use it in your business to provide value to your audience without changing the product content.

With Resell Rights:

  • You can sell the product to others for a profit.

  • You can distribute the product digitally through your website, social media, or other sales channels.

  • You can offer the product as-is, without changing or rebranding it.

3. What’s Not Allowed?
  • Modification Restrictions: If the product is sold under MRR or Resell Rights, you cannot alter the content in any way (e.g., editing the product, changing text, adding your logo).
  • Redistribution: You cannot redistribute the product in its original or modified form for free. All products sold under these licenses must be paid for.
  • Transfer of License: You cannot transfer, sublicense, or sell the rights to others unless specified in the original purchase agreement (e.g., the customer cannot then sell the product with MRR).
  • Bundling Restrictions: You cannot offer the product as part of a “free” package or bundle if it is sold under Resell Rights or MRR. The product must always be sold for a price.
  • Membership Access: You cannot use Digital Vault Lux products as part of a paid membership or subscription service unless agreed upon beforehand.
4. How Do I Use These Rights in My Business?
  • Private Label Rights (PR): You can take any product with PR, edit it, rebrand it, and then sell it to your audience. Whether you’re adding your own designs or altering the copy, these products are a perfect starting point for your own unique business line.
  • Master Resell Rights (MRR): Simply sell the product as-is. You can create an eCommerce store or use your existing platform to offer these items directly to your customers. Think of MRR as a way to profit without changing the product.
  • Resell Rights: Offer the product for resale as-is. You can market it alongside your own digital products, but it cannot be rebranded or altered in any way. Sell it on platforms like Etsy, Amazon, or your own website.
5. Can I Sell the Products on Etsy or My Website?

Yes, you can sell Digital Vault Lux products on platforms like Etsy and your own website, as long as you adhere to the specific rights attached to each product. PR, MRR, and Resell Rights all allow for selling on these platforms.

6.Do I Need to Credit Digital Vault Lux When I Sell the Products?

No, there is no requirement to credit us when you sell our products. However, we do appreciate the support and would love for you to tag us or mention us if you feel inspired to!

 

 

Can I Give These Products Away for Free?

  • PLR: Yes, you can give away products under PR as long as they are modified and branded as your own.
  • MRR/Resell Rights: No, you cannot give these products away for free. They must be sold.
